Entertainment in all it’s forms

As so many other entertainers have done ( whether professional or amateur, well know or relatively unknown),  I have dabbled in several other forms of entertainment. Two decades of being a DJ and working in literally thousands of venues of all kinds lead me into the world of magic and children’s entertainment. After realizing that I possessed a talent for performing a show which not only consisted of magic tricks but lots of scripted and off the cuff comedy, my aspirations steered me in the direction of the theater. What a blast I had at the drama school I joined in 2014. Drama is well equipped to boost anyone’s confidence. I was encouraged by my teachers to audition for a ” A Street Car Named Desire ” I protested somewhat and proclaimed that I hadn’t yet gained enough experience, but my guides were not going to accept my protests, I ended up cast as Mitch ( a character with a substantial part to play ) I relished in the experience as an actor and both our  audiences and my cast members were  complimentary to my performance. I’ll definitely be repeating that experience. I’m currently realizing another entertaining ambition of mine, and what’s more, in a country I happen to like a lot. Every Saturday morning I broadcast live on the radio. I call my show the Espanglish show. I play tunes from the top 40 in Spain mixed with pop classics from the best decades of popular music, I also get to speak in Spanish as well as English. I broadcast as Adam The Magic Music Man and have adopted many listeners from the UK as well as the stations regular listeners. I’d still like to experiment in other areas of entertainment; especially in Music, but that is for another blog on another day. I am still performing as a children’s entertainer in the UK and I’m looking forward to performing lots of Comedy Magic Shows in Hampshire and the neighboring counties in July and August 2016.
